This website is a history of the heritage of Aldermaston, Berkshire and the surrounding area. Here you can browse through photos, memories, stories and historical information related to Aldermaston.

It was a grant in 2019 from tHeritage Lottery Fund logohe National Lottery Heritage Fund that enable this site to exist.

 

About us

This website was created by and is being continuously developed by the Aldermaston History Group. We are an organisation of volunteers interested in the history and heritage of our area. We’re always interested in new recruits or visitors to our talks and meetings, so if interested please contact us.

Contributing to the site

You can add a comment about anything on the website by clicking on the Add a comment link at the bottom of each page. You can also submit your own photos, stories or information to the site by using our contribution form by selecting the Contribute button on the home page.

Research

If you are visiting the website as part of your own research, the Search box at the top of every  page or on the large Search box on the home page will allow you to search all photos, memories, stories, links and historical information we have recorded online. You can refine your search from the results page.

If you can’t find information you are looking for we would encourage you to contact us and tell us what you are looking for, you never know we could have something offline.
